Sharjah Business Women Council Promotes Business Women At ’Made In Sharjah’ Exhibition

With the celebration of the launch of ’Made in Sharjah’ exhibition, Sharjah Business Women Council (SBWC) will take part in this international fair that is being held between 21-25 November 2010 at the Expo Centre Sharjah.

’Made in Sharjah’ exhibition becomes a sales and networking platform for hundreds of industrial enterprises where they meet to showcase their products and conclude deals. As small and medium enterprises were encouraged to take part this year, Sharjah Business Women Council has proactively involved their members and encouraged them to participate in the business festivity. SBWC will have a stand that includes the participating business women. Participants will get the chance to outreach the international markets that mainly targets customers and organizations from West Asia and Africa.

Ameera Abdulrahim Binkaram, Chairperson of Sharjah Business Women Executive Committee, said: "I would like to thank Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry for their continuous support to the Council. The Chamber has given us the chance to be part of this exhibition which acts as a gateway for our members to network and introduce their enterprises to the international market. It complements our aim to cross the bridges between local and international businesses. It also broadens the networking opportunities of our women entrepreneurs to augment their trades and promote their brands internationally." Binkaram concluded: " We, at SBWC, would like to invite more women to take part in this annual international event and benefit from the facilities offered to them.

We have provided our participating members with exclusive services that would encourage them to take part and promote their local brands internationally." With the aim to work in line with the Emirate of Sharjah’s strategy to integrate women in the economical development and encourage them to foster new fields within the commercial and industrial small and medium enterprises, Sharjah Business Women Council thrives to provide the best services that mutually meet the needs of business women. It inspires them to take part within the programs and activities that would significantly strengthen Sharjah’s investment environment and plays an active role to advocate for the global and international investment in the national brand.
