New Hierarchy Structure For Sharjah Ladies Club











The Sharjah Ladies Club Board of Directors announced the new organizational structure for SLC new heads of departments, which comes in line with the new futuristic plans of the club. This new structure is lead under Her Highness wife of Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qassimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Ladies Club, and Her Excellency Sheikha Budour Bint Sultan Al Qassimi, Vice Chairperson of the Sharjah Ladies Club.

The internal process included a number of managerial changes and job titles, where five different administrative departments formed in taking full supervision of the club’s work in all aspects, internally and externally. Full supervision and follow-up will be taken by Khawla Al Serkal Sharjah Ladies Club Director.

These five departments such as the Corporate Communication Department under Badria Al Ali, Business Management Department under Hanan Al Mahmoud, Administrative services and HR Department under Muna Al-Safari, Facilities and Services Department under Fatima Al Shehhi, adding to that the Finance and strategic planning department under Thuraya Jalal.

These changes and restructures came after a series of research and studies which lasted around a year. The studies addressed the needs of a productive institution that works on evaluating employee’s needs and modification of their careers.

The club included the movement of employees in positions accordingly to their needs and professionalism in the working force during a year. And the main purpose in employee’s evaluation is to move and set the right person in the right position to increase the level of productivity.

The purpose of these changes aimed to push qualified women with highly developed visions in positions that would complement the highly and right leadership position deserved. These changes are aimed to obtain satisfactory results in services and departments through the usage of the right, and precise of available human resources.

“We believe in human resources and the level of energy existing in the club, as we work on giving employees the chance in finding what they are aiming and looking for. Moreover, we always look forward in being a well environment attracting employees receiving their well deserved rights. And in return we get their abilities and creativity which works on increasing the productivity of the club and presenting its services in a high quality”, said Khawla al Serkal, SLC director, regarding the importance and constant development in the new strategies.

Adding to that she said, “The restructure of the club is a new experience adopted around a year which included a number of phases in reaching the final stages. The new structure was based on and aimed in hiring talented people leading and managing the newly structured departments. Therefore, we witnessed the improvement in the level of performance and services that the club offers, and what employees are looking forward in reaching highest standards of quality. In return it works in the development the club’s services and what it offers for its visitors and members. Therefore, we hope this experiment will stay successful on a long term and we stay the best to everyone, and provide everything that serves and develops the club in being always the best in all aspects”.
It is worthy to mention that under the new hierarchy structures, the club has launched its breastfeeding rooms for employees and members in different areas of the club. Moreover, the implementation of the new structure in the high interest with the special needs category through specifying extra special handicapped parking.
