The annual Mushmis Summer Camp at Sharjah Ladies Club held several trips and activities for participant children, sponsored by Children’s City Dubai. The children within the camp were able to enjoy and participate in several activities and trips of the summer camp, such as the Children’s City Dubai trip, and Sharjah Aquarium trip. The children were able to learn and enjoy through these trips as well as spending fun and useful times at the same time.
This event comes within the “Precious Investment” campaign, which is released by the Supreme Council for Family Affairs within all its institutions, aiming in forming families, educational and social institutions, and ready in facing future challenges through raising children and preparing them well.
The first group of the Mushmis summer camp, which reached the number of 30 participants headed to the Children’s City- Dubai, were able to enjoy the games and activities provided at the center. The children were able to learn the basics of human body structure, such as the skeleton and how each body part functions. On the other hand, they were able to learn the basics of science, energy and water, and the techniques of dealing with different surfaces and materials. Moreover, the children enjoyed the games provided at the children’s city.
On the other hand, the second Mushmis summer camp group headed to the Sharjah Aquarium, where they were able to explore and learn about the various sea creatures in the UAE. The children were taken on a tour through small tunnels and water bridges equipped with special developed techniques. Moreover, the children were able to look at more than 250 of sea species, as well as access to rare and colorful fish that live in their normal habitat.
“We have assured to hold as many activities and weekly trips within the Mushmis Summer Camp, which adds an entertaining and learning factor in developing the children’s mind, and gives them the chance enjoying the environment around them. Our trips to the Children’s City- Dubai and the Sharjah Aquarium, have worked on providing kids with all of the useful information provided out of the school system. Moreover, the children were able to spend fun and entertaining times, and we hope to embrace more of such activities and trips for their great impact on the summer campers”, said Hala AL Far, Sports Coordinator.
It is worthy to mention that Sharjah Ladies Club, Mushmis Summer Camp will continue between June- July, and consists of three different groups for different age groups. All these activities include various activities and events set by specialists and experts for the purpose of developing the children’s skills mentally and physically.
