As part of the ongoing Mushmis Summer Camp Organized by the Sharjah Ladies Club, and in association with Star Gate and Dubai Dolphinarium, a number of trips were organized where the camp’s children were able to visit places like the Star Gate and Dubai Dolphinarium, while another group of kids were able to visit Dubai Zoo. The trips aimed at providing the kids with fun yet learning environment.
These trips come within the “Precious Investment” campaign, which was released by the Supreme Council for Family Affairs within all its institutions, aiming in defining the role of the SCFA in raising the standards of families as well as supporting positive behaviours of children.
The first group of children were able to visit Star Gate and enjoy different available activities such as watching 3D cinema and carting, while another group enjoyed a day at the Dolphinarium and were able to watch the Dolphin show. Dubai Zoo also Welcome Mushmis Summer Camp kids who learned about different kinds of animals and their eating habits.
On this occasion Hala Al Far, Sports Department Coordinator at the Sharjah Ladies Club insisted on the importance of outdoor trips to the development of the Mushmis Summer Camp.
“These trips have a huge impact on the physical and mental development of children, especially after researches acknowledged the importance of outdoor learning environment, and away from all the daily routine, and therefore when we worked on the development of our summer camp program we made sure to add as many trips as possible for they provide both elements of fun and education. Through these trips the kids had a great time learning and enjoying their activities and therefore we wish to continue down the same path. I would also like to thank Star Gate and Dubai Dolphinarium for hosting our kids and allowing them to spend some quality time.”
It is worthy to mention that the Mushmis Summer Camp will last between June-July, and will include three different groups that cater to different ages which are: Little Mushmis, Active Mushmis and Sunshine Summer Camp. The program includes multiple activities which were put by specialists in order develop the child’s mental and physical abilities.
