Footfall increases 15% during month-long promotion
Sahara Centre, the leading family and shopping destination in the Emirate of Sharjah, today, announced that sales spurted by 20 per cent and footfall by 15 per cent during the ‘House of Style’ Family Promotion, which concluded on May 26, 2012.
As part of the promotion, Sahara Centre announced five winners who walked away with a wide array of prizes as part of its minor raffle draws and a grand draw. Four winners – Faisal Ghazi Najia, Jamal Yousuf, Abdul Rahman Dames and Amna Hussain Jaafar each won AED 25,000 worth of Apparel vouchers from select high-end fashion brands: Aldo, Aeropostale, Nine West, Dune and Aldo Accessories, while Dr. Amna Jamali, a Pakistani national, won the grand prize -- a complimentary stay for a year in a luxurious one-bedroom furnished apartment at Ramada Hotel in Sharjah.
Customers spending a minimum of AED 200 at any store at Sahara Centre during the Family Promotion were entitled to participate in the raffle draws.
Talking about the win, Dr. Jamali said: “I am thrilled to win this amazing prize at the Ramada Hotel. On the way back home from entering the draw I wondered to myself why I was so sure that I would win, but I had a good feeling about it. In the end I won with only three coupons in my hand! Having a home away from home is a great win and I look forward to many nights to remember throughout the year. I sincerely thank Sahara Centre for giving me this opportunity.”
