Shurooq Offers Two High-end Destinations Filled With Summer Activities At Al Qasba And Al Majaz Waterfront |

Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) have announced that they are organizing a number of entertaining shows and activities during the summer at Al Majaz Waterfront, the latest tourism destination in the emirate of Sharjah, and Al Qasba, Sharjah’s premier tourist, leisure and cultural destination. This programme falls in line with the authority’s directives to develop the Emirate’s tourism product and promote its projects as year long family oriented tourist and leisure destinations. The entertaining shows at both destinations will include mesmerizing firework shows that will light up the skies of Sharjah on the weekends, over a period of 8 consecutive weeks. There will be two shows every weekend in the evenings of Thursdays at Al Majaz Waterfront, and Fridays at Al Qasba from Thursday 5th of July until the first day of Eid Al Fitr. Al Qasba is presenting three stunning shows as part of their Summer Fun Weekends program on the stage of Masrah Al Qasba-Theatre this summer from 29th June to 14th July. The theatre hosted ’Pirates of Arabia Adventures’ in the first week (29-30 June). The evenings of the next weekend (6-7 July) will be full of magic and illusion as the internationally acclaimed and award winning illusionist Gaston Quieto takes to the stage to confound and captivate his audience with his tricks. The third week (13-14 July) will be all about the sweetest treats as the children are taken on a magical adventure with the famous Willy Wonka’s factory in ’Charlie and The Chocolate Factory’. Al Qasba has also launched its Summer Promotions, which includes a range of thrilling giveaways, raffle draws and prizes that aim to add joy and excitement to the Sharjah’s residents and visitors experience at Al Qasba. From the 15th of June to the 31st of July, visitors can buy a promotional package that will give them four tickets to ride the Etisalat - Eye of the Emirates wheel, Coupons of buy 2 get 1 free from Nandos, off the entry ticket to Dreamland Aqua Park and 2,000 scratch & win tickets which guarantees that every visitor is a winner this summer. In addition to all of that, visitors will be getting a chance to enter 3 grand raffle draws with 21 premium prizes including a five-day trip for two to Malaysia. At Al Majaz Waterfront, visitors will enjoy the exciting shows of Sharjah Fountain, with 6 musical shows daily from 7:30 pm until 12:00 am. The recently opened Splash Park will be open to children from 1-12 years from 4:00 pm until 11:30 pm. Speaking on the occasion, H.E. The destination includes a number of entertaining facilities, restaurants and cafes. Shurooq, also, supervises Al Qasba, Sharjah’s leading tourism, leisure and cultural destination.
