Dubai Customs hosted a handcraft exhibition for people of disabilities from Dubai Rehabilitation Center for Disabled. Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of a number of senior managers and employees in the department. The step, which comes as part of Dubai Customs’ CSR efforts, will help promote the innovations of people with disabilities and help the local society become more inclusive for them.
Director of Dubai Customs listened to a brief on the achievements of the students with disabilities from Aisha Abdalla Al Dirby, Director of Dubai Rehabilitation Center for Disabled.
She pointed out that this step will familiarize local community with the innovations of our students and support them by providing logistic and psychological support.
Musabih expressed his happiness with the students’ creations and artworks, and commanded they be used as souvenirs and gifts to Dubai Customs’ guests and visitors.
The exhibition which was held at Dubai Customs’ main building included a section for printing on clothes and bags, a section for handicrafts and artworks, and a photography section.
