As per the directives of Deputy Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to improve the Financial Audit Department’s (FAD) operational processes and enhance efficiency, the Department has signed a cooperation agreement with Morgan International to help its UAE nationals employees prepare for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam.
The move is part of the Department’s efforts to implement programmes to realise the leadership’s objective of enhancing the efficiency and capabilities of staff, and supporting the development of UAE national youth. The move is consistent with FAD’s strategy to develop young national talent and provide them with the tools to excel and contribute to achieving the UAE leadership’s vision.
At a meeting with CPA candidates, Director General of FAD HE Abdullah Ghobash said that FAD focuses on preparing the youth for future leadership of the department by building a strong foundation grounded in solid professional capabilities. He said the FAD always seeks to set an example in developing local talent.
He also expressed his best wishes to CPA candidates, adding that that the Department spares no effort in upskilling local talent in collaboration with specialised training entities.
The CPA is one of the most prestigious certificates in accounting, issued by The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). CPAs are considered an elite group of professionals. The certification opens doors for professionals to assume leadership positions in their respective domains.
