Nineteen new judges sworn in before Mohammed bin Rashid

The judges took oath before His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, vowing to uphold justice, respect the law, maintain absolute integrity and devotion to duty and remain committed to honest practices as judges.

The Ruler of Dubai gave directives to the new judges to abide by the values of impartiality and honesty, work under the cloak of the law away from any bias and grant everyone their rights, stressing that all are equal in front of the law and there is no difference between young and old, or rich or poor.

Sheikh Mohammed also ordered the concerned officials and judges to avoid the red tape and bureaucracy to better serve the interests of the people and their rights and ensure their satisfaction and happiness. 

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai's Attorney-General Essam Eisa Al Humaidan, Director-General of Dubai Courts Tarish Eid Al Mansouri, Director-General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Secretary-General of Dubai Judicial Council Khalifa bin Demas and a number of officials.
