Emirates NBD Honors Business Partners At First Supplier Appreciation Event |

As a leading bank in the region, Emirates NBD Group works with several international and local business partners. The Group’s Procurement and Real Estate Department, recently organized its first Supplier Appreciation event, to commend and thank some of its valued strategic suppliers. Hosted by Ahmed Al Sheryani – Executive Vice-President, Procurement and Real Estate Department at Emirates NBD, the event was aimed at recognizing business partners who have contributed to supporting the bank’s business initiatives and programmes, as Emirates NBD moves towards achieving the highest standards of excellence in services provided to its partners and customers. Welcoming the guests, Al Sheryani stated, “We are here to celebrate your efforts and to express our deepest appreciation for your support to Emirates NBD’s drive to success. Your efforts complement our projects, initiatives and programmes, and we look forward to our continued collaboration to achieve the aspirations of our leadership to lead, excel and innovate, so that we can improve our competitiveness both regionally and globally.” The event included an award ceremony where representatives of the bank’s business units presented awards to their respective strategic suppliers, including: Technology and Tele-Communication: Avaya, Oracle, Microsoft, GBM As part of its ongoing commitment to leverage the assets and the capabilities of its strategic suppliers through mutually beneficial long term agreements, Emirates NBD will continue to host Supplier Appreciation events under the newly formed SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) function within Procurement and Real Estate Department, managed by Nita Nair, AVP-Strategic Sourcing. |
