Calling all mothers in the region! Dubai Active have announced the launch of a very special event that is dedicated to you and your little ones. Running alongside the Dubai Active B2B Day, the Mummy Morning event will be taking place on the morning of Thursday 5th December, from 10am-2pm, at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). In partnership with Malaak Mama & Babycare, the inspiring event will offer an educational guide to wellness and fitness for parents, babies and toddlers and will include fun and active classes, informative panel discussions, workshops, baby yoga classes, the chance to network with like-minded people, and much more! Malaak Mama & Baby Care, a one-stop shop for expecting families, will kick start the Mummy Morning event with an incredible free to attend workshop, focused on the important topic of baby weaning, lead by Registered Dietitian, Jordana Ventzke. Jordana's workshop entitled "A Healthy Start to Eating" will allow parents to gather information and practical tips from Jordana's years of experience as well as an opportunity to ask questions and share any concerns with other mothers. The talk will take place at 10.30am on the 5th December. For all the mini and adult yogis out there, a mum and baby yoga session will be held at 11.30am. Parents are encouraged to bring along their littles ones to take part in a revitalising sequence of yoga poses. There are many documented benefits of children practicing yoga including enhanced flexibility, strength, coordination and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves, and who doesn't want a relaxed little one! Looking to get in shape while looking after a newborn isn't easy at the Dubai Active Show, you're in luck. At 12.00 PM there is a Carry Baby Fit class for all mothers and their babies. Located in the Dubai Active Functional Studio, Carry Baby Fit allows you to work out while carrying your baby, providing the rehabilitation tools to strengthen your body for yourself as well as continue to strengthen that bond between parent and baby. Straying fit and healthy in pregnancy and beyond is an ongoing and important topic the world over. At 12.30pm Dubai Active will be hosting a panel discussion focusing on this and will feature the very best in the industry: Caley Jack, Les Mills master trainer who specialises in pre and post-natal health and Heidi Jones, a health coach who works with families and post-natal women, will both bring their expertise to the panel discussion. The inspiring panel will also feature Carly Neave, a travel and wellness blogger who announced her own pregnancy earlier this year and is now an inspiration to her followers going through the same journey. To get everyone moving and shaking, this exciting Mummy Morning event will finish with an exhilarating Zumba class! At 1.30pm, everybody is invited to come and experience the class, which is designed to bring people together and give parents a chance to let go and dance, all in the name of fitness. Alongside the impressive, jam-packed schedule, there will be a number of activations taking place from renowned local and international brands: F45 Jumeirah Beach: will be running their signature team training, life changing, global sensation workouts throughout the day, with visitors welcome to join in at no extra charge ● Reform Athletica: the premium boutique fitness studio will be running express TRX demo workouts at their stand throughout the day, helping mums to tone, tighten and strengthen their bodies.
