Etihad Towers Abu Dhabi Welcomes Leading Global Bank UBS











Etihad Towers Abu Dhabi - the luxury mixed-use development by Sheikh Suroor Projects Department (SSPD) in the heart of the UAE capital – announced that is has strengthened its financial client portfolio with the addition of leading global bank UBS.

UBS, Switzerland’s largest bank, has taken space on level 14 of Tower 3 of Etihad Towers Abu Dhabi. Jean-Pierre Schnegg, Executive Director of UBS Abu Dhabi, said: “Having spent nearly 37 years in the current office building on Sheikh Khalifa Street, time has come to relocate our Abu Dhabi Representative Office to the most iconic landmark in town. This is a new chapter of UBS’s 37 years presence and successful activity in the city. We are excited and proud to establish our office in Tower 3 at Etihad Towers, a state-of-the-art building which is very well known internationally and easily accessible from anywhere. Our new office location will offer us close proximity to the various established businesses and official nerve centres of the UAE capital. We will also enjoy becoming part of a safe, secure, modern and vibrant lifestyle neighbourhood. We expect to welcome our valued visitors and colleagues to our brand new Representative Office by the end of September at the latest.”

Richard Foulds, Property Manager at Etihad Towers, said: “A global brand such as UBS amplifies the impressive line-up of financial clients that have made Etihad Towers their hub to strengthen their operations in Abu Dhabi. Commercial tenants had the option of choosing from over 45,000 sqm of leasable space spread over 52 floors at ‘Working at Etihad Towers’, however, 75% of the tower is now leased, testament to the unrivalled quality of this landmark development.
