Air Arabia Increases Kenya Flights To Daily











Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, announced today the expansion of service to the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, from Sharjah hub, UAE. Air Arabia will now offer daily flights from the Kenyan city making it easier and more convenient for passengers to visit this vibrant City.

Air Arabia flies to over 65 destinations spreading across the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and Europe and operates from three hubs in UAE, Morocco and Egypt.

Air Arabia currently offers 4 flights a week to Nairobi. Starting 7th April, 2011, the carrier will offer direct flights 7 times a week, departing Sharjah International Airport daily at 9:30 am on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, flights depart Sharjah at 18:00 pm. Return flights depart Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 14:05PM and 23:25PM respectively.

Mr. Nizar said that the region has also shown a lot of potential especially for traders and Nairobi has become a business hub for the East African region noting that Nairobi has proven to be a very lucrative market for trade in the Middle East. He added that Air Arabia has indeed revolutionalized the travel business in the region since the airline provides the lowest fares among its competitors.

Air Arabia started operations in Kenya in October 2008 with 3 flights a week to UAE. Since then, the airline has seen increasing demand for the appealing value for money product it offers.
