Abu Dhabi Motors celebrates 25 years of excellence with multimillion dirham investment in business
Abu Dhabi Motors, the sole dealer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, has reaffirmed its commitment to the emirate with the opening of the world’s largest Rolls-Royce showroom in the Umm Al Nar area of Abu Dhabi.
Unveiled at a press conference attended by the CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, and a number of high-ranking company officials, the new 894 square meter showroom forms part of Abu Dhabi Motors’ multimillion dirham redevelopment of its existing Umm Al Nar Showroom and is the culmination of an impressive first 25 years in business.
2010 saw the importer maintain its status as the biggest-selling dealer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in the Middle East and one of the top five dealers in the world, also boasting the richest bespoke specifications. For the first time, treble figure sales were achieved in a calendar year, with a reported 176 per cent growth in sales. Latest results from the dealer also reveal that sales in the first two months of 2011 continue on a strong level and are showing sustained development. Compared to the same period in 2010, Abu Dhabi Motors achieved a 117 percent growth.
Located in Umm Al Nar, between the two bridges and next to the BMW showroom, the new Rolls-Royce showroom replaces the former facility on the Corniche. Aimed at delivering a broadened Rolls-Royce experience to its sophisticated clientele, the building is comprised of state of the art facilities and a showroom floor capable of displaying five cars. The showroom also features exclusive parking for Rolls-Royce customers, coffee bar, a lounge including colour and trim samples and a direct connection to the new dedicated Rolls-Royce workshop.

The exclusive dealer marked the official opening of its new showroom with the reveal of a limited edition Phantom Drophead Coupé hand-built to commemorate the Centenary of the Spirit of Ecstasy. One of only one hundred Phantom family cars, the vehicle is a truly unique specification that celebrates the most iconic of automotive mascots. Unique bespoke exterior and interior features form a specification that follows a design vision inspired by the legend. The exclusive features will be fixed, however the customer will be able to select from a choice of four newly created exterior paints as well as wood veneers and leather colours.
