L’Officiel Abu Dhabi Arab Woman Awards - Results Announced

The winners of the L’Officiel Arab Woman Awards for Abu Dhabi were announced at a glittering ceremony attended by over 450 females at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr tonight.

The awards were a celebration of the achievements of inspirational Arab women from the region in fields including business, arts, charity, fashion and philanthropy. The winners included business woman H.E. Huda Al Matroushi from Gasco, Dr Afaf Ghunaim from United Eastern Medical, and H.E. Noura Al Kaabi from twofour54.

The winners were selected by a panel of judges led by L’Officiel Middle East Editor, Nadine El Chaer.

Sheikha Manar Bint Mohammed Al Hinai, winner of the Young Designer of the Year award said:’ I am very excited and honored to have received this award. This goes to show that hard work and dedication never go unforgotten. I thank Allah and my family and friends for always supporting me when launching my Lucky Nooni brand aimed at incorporating traditional Khaleeji fashion with modern casual day wear.’

The ultimate award for the L’Officiel Middle East Most Inspirational Arab Woman of Abu Dhabi was presented to Rita Aoun-Abdo for her work in art and culture. Rita is the Art and Cultural Advisor of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Development & Investment Company.

Literature: Maitha Al Hameli
Fashion Designer: Shk. Rafeea Bint Helal AlQubasi (Mauzan)
Medical: Dr. Afaf Ghunaim
Entrepreneur: Sharifa Sehweil, Nadia Sehweil & Elina Nykanen Rozycki (SOMA Pilates).
Young Designer: Shk. Manar Bint Mohammed Al Hinai (Lucky Nooni)
Humanitarian: Huda Al Shourbagy
Media: H.E. Noura Al Kaabi
Most Stylish: Fatima Al Kutbi
Young Achiever: Nadine Maalouf
Inspirational Woman of the Year: Rita Aoun Abdo
